Screw that customer used were too long and made contact with metal inside latch causing control and UI to short out and fail. Tech confirmed incoming voltage at control. Control is not sending voltage to other components on machine. Tech advised customer that installed parts are being removed and unit is no longer being serviced in fear of causing damage to installed parts. Called techline SR 7732043776 . Put unit in diagnostics thermistors are reading at the control . Checked damper operation it is opening and closing as it should . Ohm out the thermistor For freshfood and freezer Techline said there were a little warm . Techline said to replaced the damper and control and if problem persists there is no other suggestions on the fix to the unit and to call techline .
