Customer stated unit was making a squealing sound. I diagnosed unit but could not get it to duplicate noise. Customer did have a recording of it but it was still difficult to identify where it was coming from. I ran several high spin speed cycles without any noise which makes me believe that it is not the gearcase also their was no oil residue or anything which is usually a good indication gearcase is bad. I did replace the slider to see if that would make a difference for the customer. I'm going to have customer run a load and see if noise is still there.
