Unit stopped heating again. After inspecting unit i found that the thermostat tested bad due to the vent hose being blocked and filled with water. I replaced thermostat and tested airflow without the vent hose attached and the unit passed. I explained to the customer that they need to have a vent hose & outside vent replaced. "Customer stated that they have a strange Oder coming from the unit. After inspecting unit i could verify the Oder as a chemical smell i could not find the source as the unit is empty, i used a refrigerant leak detector and the result was no leaks found.
