Customer stated that the ice cream is getting soft. After inspecting the unit i found that the door switch is broken and that the freezer gasket is not sealing. I applied heat to gasket to form. Ordering door switch W11123941; ordrng 1 W11123941 (Door switch)

The repair technician provided excellent service. Was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions. As far as the product is concerned, as a consumer it is disappointing to purchase a new washing machine that shakes a great deal on the spin cycle and needs repair or replacement. I have always been pleased with Maytag products but now I doubt that I would purchase this brand again.
