"Customer states unit throws F3E3 error code when starting unit & would like a replacement. F3E3 error code stored. Vent seems to be clean and clear. Ran unit on normal cycle for about 20 minutes with no issue. Contacted Whirlpool technical assistance line due to reoccurring issue. Agent referred to service pointer W11395626A stating that in this situation, if the vent is clean and the thermistor is not shorted, the ACU and UI should be replaced. Replacing user interface and control unit. However, if customer still experiences issues after this repair; the fault code would be due to user error.
