I could not duplicate the popping sound. I did find one of the compressor brackets was not installed but laying in the bottom of the compartment, i installed compressor bracket. Unit tested good."

Unit freshfood evap frosted . Evap thermistor was 9.5 k while evap was frosting . Customer has had unit frost up every year since they have owned it . Freshfood evap with thermistor has been changed 3 times and the UI has been replaced by another company . and service pointer has been followed . Called techline SR 7737247099 techline said there is no other recommendations since the UI was replaced. No parts that can be changed . Customer is going to call kitchen aid customer service

"Unit has error code for vent wax motor fault. When I ran a diagnostic cycle unit ran correctly. I then cleared error codes and ran a normal cycle for a few minutes then checked error code. Vent motor error came back, I reccomended replacing fan for intermittent issues. ; ordrng 1 W11649995 (Vent) and 1 W11545539 (Gasket)"
