WASHER MAYTAG MVWC200XW1 "Customer reports unit will fill, but won’t agitate, and doesn’t fill all the way up during rinse for normal & delicate. One time event of a burning smell after multiple loads. F0E4 F7E5 error codes stored. Contacted the manufacturer technical support line. Agent suggests the control board, water inlet, shifter, and/or capacitor should be replaced. Unit completed an auto test, but agitation sounded weak. Further diagnosis discovered the smell is emitting from the motor. Shifter seems to be working as it should, same with the inlet valves. Suspecting a fail in the control board is causing the no fill during rinse & the little to no agitation. Motor and capacitor should also be replaced.
