I checked the unit for codes and found no other code then the F8E1 code. The unit is receiving 240v. I ran the cold water valve and the condensation valve in the diagnostic mode and it tested good. I then ran the cold water valve again and turned on the kitchen sink and the water to unit slowed down, then i flushed the toilet and the water to unit came to a crawl. I explained to the customer that the unit isnt getting enough water when the sink and toilet is running and that is a plumbing problem. Unit tested good"

Customer stated that the dryer only works on timed dry cycles and when on sensor dry the unit stops after 10 minutes. I took a damp towel and confirmed that it did stop at the 10 minute mark. I inspected connections and discovered that the touch sensor connector on the board pin J13 was loose. I checked for continuity at connector and touch sensor and it passed. I reconnected connector to J13 and ran another test cycle and it passed. Unit tested good.

Removed belt to verify that the sound wasnt coming from the motor and it was not, also noticed that the unit needs new shocks. Unit needs a gear case, after quoting the repair to the customer he informed me that he was just going to purchase a new unit. When i informed customer that the service call fee is due today he told me that he only had $60 today, no one told him that there would be a fee and to bill him for the balance. I collected $60 in cash. I did speak with Kim about it"
