"Customer stated unit was not cooling in freezer section sometimes, ice maker was not working and light in freezer went out. I diagnosed unit and could not find a reason as to why unit was not cooling sometimes. When I arrived everything in the freezer was frozen and was working properly. I checked heating element, evap fan, thermistor and drain plug. I put unit Into diagnostic and only found error code E5 for ice maker thermistor. I had a new light module in my van that I tried to replace in freezer but could not because unit was sprayed with too much foam and wires were buried. When I tried to take off connection the whole connector came off. I called techline to explain what was going on and letting them know I did not have enough slack for connection. Whirlpool deemed this unit unrepairable. Informed customer of situation and let them know their extended warranty company should be contacting them about next steps. Sr 7733832792"
